Debating The State Of Travel: Travel Agents Vs. The Internet

Today in our “Debating The State of Travel” video series, our four veteran travel experts – BHTP President Dean Sivley, TravelSkills chief Chris McGinnis, MMGY Global President and CEO Clayton Reid, and InsureMyTrip CEO Jim Grace  – talk about how travel agents and the internet shape travelers’ buying decisions.

There’s no question that the internet has completely changed travel, and continues to change travel every day, through everything from photo sharing to online price comparisons to instant bookings.

Despite all these changes, the human element is more important than ever, and travel professionals (like our Daniela Harrison and Cat Zuniga) that can harness some of the changes wrought by the internet – social media, for instance – have been able to thrive in this new environment.

Check out today’s video, and sure to check out BHTP and our full line of travel insurance … sold via travel professionals and over the internet.
